What does the future of poultry production look like? Recently, more than 90 poultry producers and growers had the opportunity to see it firsthand at an Open Day hosted by LUSIAVES, one of the largest poultry producers in Portugal, together with our dealer partner TECSISEL.

The event showcased the first completed phase of an ambitious new broiler complex featuring 16 operational barns equipped with Signify's NatureDynamics (ND) Dome Broiler intelligent lighting system. With 40 broiler houses and more than 4,000 ND Dome units scheduled to be delivered throughout 2026, the project is set to become one of the largest intelligent poultry lighting installations in Europe.

Visitors were able to tour the facilities, connect with industry experts, and see firsthand how advanced lighting technology can help create environments that support bird welfare, performance, and operational efficiency.

The scale of the investment attracted significant attention across the industry, including media coverage and the attendance of government officials, highlighting the growing importance of innovation in modern poultry production.
