The Junction-Box Mounted Light is the solid solution for excellent results in layer barns. It is an 8W dimmable LED lighting for layers solution designed for facilities that require light output at 11W CFL levels. It provides species-specific light recipes for layers that improve production and reduce stress. Light spectrums can be optimized for production in both the layer stage and the pullet stage. The Junction-Box Mounted Light for Layers–Tall/ Short features an updated lens to improve light distribution and eliminate cracking, full internal wire sealing so no moisture, dust or bug ingress can enter inside and a longer life span with less lumen depreciation. Available in both a tall and short lens, this LED offers a very wide beam angle and provides animals with Dim-to-Red technology, which has been shown to decrease time to peak production. Sunrise and sunset simulation eliminate the stress of switching lights on and off abruptly. This lessens overall stress in flock and lowers mortality, while improving immune response.
